I have seen madness
A demon of possession
Biblical
Belonging to a different time
A forgotten mindset
Taking hold of a damaged brain
Perverting life and joy
For what after all is evil?
But the death of love.
Stripped of memory
Essences that once made whole
Replaced by a vessel of fear
Driven to hide from imagined shadows
In this pit of darkness
Vileness launched
With demonic strength
At those who were cherished
In a previous existence
Now forgotten
A soul lost…
